A big part of why we're building Groundwork is what we kept observing: a collective resignation to an impossible tradeoff. Our generation was told to Lean In. That story hasn't held up.
Caregiving takes time. And if there are only 24 hours in a day, that time has to come from somewhere. Work is the right place to pull from — but it can't come at the cost of your career. We believe that's possible. And we're finding the employers who believe it too.
